About Michelle

Michelle is an experienced Educational Psychologist based in Chester. She works with children from age 7 upwards and also works regularly with teenagers and young adults.

 Michelle offers online assessments (remote assessments taking place via a Zoom call) but some face to face assessments in Chester are available to book.

Michelle's Experience

Michelle trained as an Educational Psychologist at University College London. She did her first degree at Cambridge University and trained as a teacher at the University of Oxford. Michelle has also done further training at the Tavistock Clinic around children's emotional and social well being.

Michelle worked as an Educational Psychologist in Local Authorities and then started her own psychology practice in 2012. She currently practices as an independent Educational Psychologist providing services to families and schools. Michelle works with state and independent schools as well as colleges and universities. Michelle's interests are dyslexia/specific learning difficulties, language difficulties and young people's emotional well being. 

 Michelle is also a foster carer which involves laughter, exhaustion, steep learning curves and contentment in equal measure.
